CLIP STUDIO PAINT Joins Forces with Wacom for Student Creative Contest



In an effort to empower young artists, CLIP STUDIO PAINT, the popular illustration, manga, and animation software, proudly announces its sponsorship of the second edition of the Wacom Creators College Club Creative Contest (WCCC CC). This initiative, organized by Wacom, aims to provide students with opportunities to showcase their creativity and gain valuable experience.

The contest is set to kick off on May 15, 2026, targeting students who belong to educational institutions affiliated with Wacom's educational support program, WCCC. With the overwhelming success of the inaugural contest in 2025, which saw 786 submissions, the second iteration is poised to be even more engaging for participating students.

Contest Details



Submission Period: From May 15 (Friday) to July 31 (Friday)

Results Announcement: Winners will be revealed during the ‘Connected Ink 2026’ event, scheduled for November 27-28 (Friday to Saturday).

Eligibility: Open to students aged 15 and older from WCCC member schools (participants under 18 will need parental consent).

Submission Format: Any static images, including illustrations or 3D artworks, are welcome.

Theme: The profound and thought-provoking theme for this contest is:

  • - “I'll say goodbye when I can,
  • - I'll say thank you when I can,
  • - I'll say I love you when I can.”

Participants are invited to interpret this theme creatively through their artwork, with a maximum of one submission per person.

Tools: Artists are free to use any creation tools they prefer, although the use of Wacom equipment is encouraged.

Entry Fee: Free, ensuring accessibility for all aspiring artists.

Prizes and Incentives



Participants will have the chance to win incredible prizes, including:
  • - Grand Prize (1 winner): Wacom Cintiq Pro 17, a domestic creative tour, and a 24-month license for CLIP STUDIO PAINT EX (2 devices).
  • - Runner-up (1 winner): Wacom MovinkPad Pro 14, a domestic creative tour, and a 24-month license for CLIP STUDIO PAINT PRO (2 devices).
  • - High School Student Award (1 winner): Wacom MovinkPad 11 and a 12-month license for CLIP STUDIO PAINT PRO (1 device).
  • - Top 10 Artists: Wacom products and recognition at 'Connected Ink 2026'.

The submitted artworks of the Top 100 Artists will also be showcased at the same event.

  • - Takashi Honjo, CEO of IZE and concept artist.
