Verdera Energy Successfully Completes Share Distribution for enCore Energy Shareholders

Verdera Energy Completes Share Distribution

On October 1, 2026, Verdera Energy Corp. (TSXV: V) (OTCQB: VUECF) announced the successful completion of its share distribution to shareholders of enCore Energy Corp. (NASDAQ: EU) (TSXV: EU). This significant move followed the previously set record date of September 25, 2026, and the actual distribution occurred on September 30, 2026.

The total distribution comprised 35 million shares of Verdera, with a structure aimed at both unrestricted and restricted shares. Out of these, 21 million shares were unrestricted, equating to 0.108 Verdera shares for each enCore share held. Meanwhile, 7 million shares came with restrictions until November 20, 2026, and another 7 million shares would be restricted until February 20, 2027, both accounting for 0.036 shares each.

Fractional shares from the distribution were rounded down to adhere to the designated terms. Consequently, enCore’s holdings included 17,554 unrestricted shares of Verdera, alongside restricted shares that would become available in the near future.

This strategic distribution not only enhances the relation between the two companies but also allows enCore shareholders to directly benefit from Verdera's endeavors in developing its In-Situ Recovery (ISR) uranium assets located in New Mexico.

Janet Lee-Sheriff, CEO of Verdera, expressed her enthusiasm about this milestone, remarking, “Completing this distribution is an important milestone for Verdera. We are pleased to welcome enCore's shareholders to the Verdera register. With a broader shareholder base and a clear focus on advancing our ISR uranium assets in New Mexico, we look forward to building value for all of our shareholders, including our largest shareholder, enCore Energy, as the United States works to strengthen its domestic uranium supply.”
