Asilla Strengthens Its Management Structure with New Leadership Roles

Asilla's New Management Initiative

Asilla Inc., headquartered in Machida City, Tokyo, is proud to announce significant enhancements to its management structure effective January 1, 2026. These changes include the establishment of a new Chief Development & Operation Officer (CDOO) position, along with the appointments of Yuka Suzuki as the Executive Officer and Chief Product Officer (CPO) and Kan Mimura as the Executive Officer and CDOO.

Founded with a mission to create a safer and more comfortable world through technology, Asilla specializes in security solutions that leverage its proprietary image analysis AI. As the company has expanded its business operations and diversified its implementation scenes, it has become imperative to design products not just based on functional developments, but starting from the essential value for the market and customers, with a continuous evolution approach.

In recent years, the expectation for quality, reproducibility, and speed in operational settings has heightened, necessitating a cohesive decision-making process and execution capabilities that encapsulate both development and operations. To address this demand, Asilla is strengthening its managerial framework to facilitate this vital integration, exemplified by the introduction of the CDOO role.

Yuka Suzuki, stepping into the CPO role, will oversee product design that is customer-centric and integrates technological services. The role emphasizes the need to design from the standpoint of problems to be solved, rather than just capabilities. By shaping the product direction based on an understanding of customer challenges and translating those into specifications and priorities, Suzuki aims to drive value creation directly contributing to business growth.

Meet the New Leaders

Yuka Suzuki - Executive Officer and Chief Product Officer (CPO)

Yuka Suzuki has a diverse background that equips her uniquely for this position. After graduating from university, she worked in analysis at a meteorological forecasting company before branching out into web consulting. Since her entry into Asilla in 2022, Suzuki has spearheaded marketing and communication strategies and drove the product planning for the flagship product, 'AI Security asilla'.

Under her leadership, efforts resulted in the successful launch of 'asilla BIZ', marking a clear delineation of product value and contributing to the expansion of business realms. As CPO, she will steer product strategy guided by customer insights. Her expertise ensures that customer challenges shape the product's specifications, promoting a proactive approach in product development.

Kan Mimura - Executive Officer and Chief Development & Operation Officer (CDOO)

Kan Mimura’s journey to Asilla reflects his adaptability and technical skills. After graduating from Kansai University, he ventured through various professions, including serving as an officer in the Air Self-Defense Force and teaching at a cram school, before shifting to software development and AI. Joining Asilla in 2017, he has significantly contributed to the planning and development of image analysis AI and coordinated between the development base in Vietnam and the rest of the team.

As CDOO, Mimura will tackle the increasing demands for quality, speed, and stable operations. This new position integrates development and operational oversight, enabling a system in which products are designed to be continuously used in the field. His past experience in technology management will be critical in bridging the gap between technology and operational effectiveness.

Conclusion

The upcoming governance changes at Asilla reflect the company's aim to innovate and adapt to the evolving market landscape. The merged responsibilities of product and operational leadership promise not just to sustain but to enhance the operational capabilities as Asilla continues to flourish. With these strategic appointments, Asilla is poised to embrace its mission while driving sustainable business growth in the years to come.
