APsystems Unveils Innovative Energy Storage Solutions at SNEC 2026 in Shanghai

Pioneering Energy Storage Solutions at SNEC 2026

At the SNEC 2026 event in Shanghai, APsystems introduced cutting-edge technologies in photovoltaic systems and energy storage. The company emphasized its core principle of "safety as a foundation, and integration of PV and storage as a goal," unveiling seven new product lines tailored for micro, residential, and commercial/industrial (C&I) applications.

Highlight: APstorage 241L Energy Storage System

Among the standout offerings was the APstorage 241L, a liquid-cooled energy storage unit designed specifically for C&I applications. This system ensures stable and long-term operation, making it an ideal choice for commercial environments.

Key Features of APstorage 241L

The APstorage 241L is engineered for high cost-effectiveness, operational stability, and enhanced safety. Its design is 15% lower than standard systems, optimizing transport space in 20-foot containers and reducing logistics costs in Europe by up to 20%.
The unit features grid-forming PCS technology and automatic coolant replenishment, ensuring reliable network performance even in areas with weak electrical infrastructure, while minimizing maintenance requirements.

A four-layer security architecture significantly lowers operational risks and running costs. The liquid cooling system allows full power maintenance up to 50°C, enabling higher effective energy availability compared to solutions that throttle performance in high-temperature conditions.

Comprehensive Eco-System for C&I Sector

The 241L model is part of a broader APstorage ecosystem, a dedicated line of energy storage solutions from APsystems. This comprehensive portfolio encompasses CI-based storage systems utilizing string technology and proprietary 3S solutions (BMS, PCS, EMS).
With a modular design and intelligent management capabilities, these systems can be deployed in both air-cooled and liquid-cooled formats, with 12 variants ranging from 60 kWh to 5 MWh. They are versatile for integration in renewable energy projects, grid services, as well as commercial and industrial applications, supported by an intelligent energy management platform.

Additional Innovative Systems

In addition to the 241L model, APsystems presented two other significant systems:
  • - APstorage 261: This industrial-grade system boasts high resistance, featuring four levels of fire protection, IP65 class, and C4/C5 corrosion protection. Its all-in-one construction allows operation of up to 10 units in parallel (2 MWh), while its compact 1.3 m² footprint and factory pre-fabrication cut installation time by over 40%.
  • - APstorage 2000L: A utility-class system with over 99% availability, it offers independent cluster management, allowing other modules to function during a PCS failure. Its grid-forming technology enables black-start capability and stable performance in weak or disconnected grids, maintaining full power output up to 50°C.

Strong Local Presence and Commitment

APsystems' global expansion is complemented by the development of local infrastructure. Recently, the company launched a new warehouse in the Netherlands dedicated to C&I systems, allowing for more efficient order fulfillment and customer service in Europe. Leveraging over 16 years of experience and numerous realized projects, APsystems offers reliable technical and operational support.

The clean energy market is rapidly evolving, and APsystems, supported by proven technologies and a robust local service infrastructure, aims to accelerate growth in the C&I sector, contributing to a more sustainable and resilient energy system.
