TCL Zhonghuan Drives India's Energy Transition at REI Expo 2026 with Innovative Solar Solutions

TCL Zhonghuan Powers India's Energy Transition at REI Expo 2026

On October 22, 2026, the Renewable Energy India Expo (REI) kicked off at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida, marking one of the most significant gatherings in South Asia's renewable energy sector. This year’s event has attracted a global audience of companies and professionals keen on advancing the industry. At booth H16-A275, TCL Zhonghuan unveiled an extensive array of high-performance solar products, including cutting-edge silicon wafers, TCL Solar photovoltaic modules, and BlueArk energy storage solutions.

The Indian photovoltaic industry has witnessed tremendous growth in recent years, fueled by an increasing national capacity for solar cell and module manufacturing. The demand for large-scale solar plants, commercial distributed generation, and rooftop installations is generating diverse requirements for initial-phase materials and final products. Moreover, India’s challenging climate, characterized by high temperatures, dust-laden conditions, and coastal areas with elevated salt concentrations, necessitates enhanced electrical performance, mechanical reliability, and environmental adaptability from photovoltaic products.

In response to these varying market needs, TCL Zhonghuan has introduced its high-efficiency X-series silicon wafers alongside TCL Solar photovoltaic modules and BlueArk energy storage products. These solutions encompass everything from initial photovoltaic materials to energy generation and storage.

X-Series Wafers Support High-Efficiency Cell Manufacturing

One of the standout products displayed is the X-series wafers. Through optimized crystal growth and related manufacturing processes, these wafers are engineered to minimize impurity levels and enhance material properties, which is instrumental in facilitating high-efficiency solar cell production in subsequent stages. The electrical properties and mechanical reliability of these wafers directly impact both the cell manufacturing performance and the final product's output. Hence, selecting the right materials is crucial. As the Indian market increasingly focuses on energy generation efficiency and project profitability, the X-series wafers are compatible with leading high-efficiency cell technologies like TOPCon, HJT, and xBC, thus providing cell manufacturers additional options to optimize their processes and enhance performance.

TCL Solar Modules Designed for Diverse Applications

TCL Solar showcased the T5 Pro and C2 photovoltaic module series at the fair. The T5 Pro boasts high-density encapsulation technology and a triple-section cell design, enabling it to achieve a 17% higher energy output compared to conventional half-cut modules in shaded conditions, featuring a temperature coefficient of -0.26%/°C. The C2 series employs back contact technology and a space-less design, combining a larger effective energy generation surface with excellent performance under low-light conditions, shading tolerance, and minimal degradation. Both series are tailored for various operational conditions, providing solutions for industrial-scale applications, commercial and industrial distributed generation, and residential installations. TCL Solar continues to innovate in BC and TOPCon technologies to meet the evolving demands of the Indian market.

BlueArk Energy Storage Solutions for Residential and Commercial Use

Additionally, the BlueArk energy storage series is designed for various applications, including residential, small-scale commercial systems, autonomous setups, microgrids, and industrial applications. The BlueArk X1 is integrated for home and small business use, while the X5 coordinates seamlessly with photovoltaic systems and diesel generators for remote areas and industrial parks. The W10 model features liquid cooling and AI-based early warning functions to meet energy management needs in commercial and industrial sectors. Collectively, the series offers flexible storage solutions that enhance energy utilization, optimize electricity costs, and ensure a reliable power supply across different applications.

Strengthening Industrial Collaboration and Exploring Solar Opportunities in India

As the global energy transition progresses, India's photovoltaic sector is uncovering new opportunities both in manufacturing capacity development and market expansion. Innovations in initial-phase materials and increased collaboration across the value chain will also play a crucial role in supporting the sector's long-term development.

TCL Zhonghuan is committed to advancing silicon wafer technologies and product innovation while intensifying technical exchanges and business collaborations with partners throughout the photovoltaic value chain. In doing so, TCL Zhonghuan aims to contribute to the global energy transition and foster a more sustainable, low-carbon future.
