Shikafoni Launches Their First Self-Hosted Variety Show on NicoNico Live Stream

Shikafoni's Historic Debut on NicoNico Live

The 2.5-dimensional talent group Shikafoni is set to make waves with their very first self-hosted variety show, "Shikafoni Live," airing on NicoNico Live. The first episode is scheduled for September 30, starting at 8:00 PM (local time), and promises an exciting lineup including Shikafoni members, the renowned host Sho Kiryuin of Golden Bomber, and special guest Sho Ayakouji from Kishidan.

Shikafoni, formed in 2022 after auditions, is a dynamic group of six talented individuals who have already captured the attention of fans worldwide. Just this April, they celebrated hitting the milestone of one million subscribers on their YouTube channel. In May, they concluded their inaugural live tour with a spectacular final performance at Ariake Arena, showcasing their growing popularity. As they mark their third anniversary in August, the group embarks on their next challenge by launching this talk variety show.

The show's debut title is "[Celebrating Their First Appearance] All Members of Shikafoni! Shikafoni Live #1 [GUEST Sho Ayakouji (Kishidan)]" and will feature engaging segments and unique discussions that can only be seen during this broadcast.

In the first episode, the spotlight will be on the guest Sho Ayakouji, who is gearing up for the upcoming Kishidan Festival in November. Shikafoni members will engage him in a lively chat to learn about courage and showmanship from an experienced musician. As a fun segment, they will participate in a challenge called "Oi, Come Here? Courage Dialogue Owarai," based around one of Kishidan's hit songs – "One Night Carnival." This segment will require Shikafoni members to respond to various scenarios improvisationally, showcasing their creativity and talent under pressure, while Ayakouji judges who displays the most 'courage.'

The 90-minute show is packed with entertainment, including a portion where both the performers and viewers can join in real-time with a special segment called "Nico Live Game."

The first half of the broadcast will be free to view, while the exciting finale of the Courage Dialogue segment and the Nico Live Game will be exclusive to NicoNico Premium members. Details regarding future episodes and programming will be revealed later.
