Gravity Game Unite Wraps Up Open Beta for 'Ragnarok Zero: Global'
On May 29, Gravity Game Unite (GGU), the Malaysian arm of the renowned gaming company Gravity, proudly announced the successful conclusion of the Open Beta Test (OBT) for their latest PC MMORPG, Ragnarok Zero: Global. This thrilling game offers a modern reinterpretation of the beloved classic, Ragnarok Online.
The OBT commenced on May 20 and ran through May 28, targeting players across Southeast Asia, Europe, and Oceania. GGU aimed to evaluate overall gameplay quality, ensuring a stable and optimized server experience. Various features received a warm reception from players, with commendations for the seven-language support, innovative leveling system, and quality localization.
One of the standout features of Ragnarok Zero: Global is its refreshed storyline that beautifully expands the original Ragnarok universe. The game retains the classic elements fans know and love while introducing new character development pathways and gameplay mechanics. Players enjoyed improved game interactions, aided by an upgraded user interface and user experience (UI/UX), enhanced automation in combat, refined movement options, and advanced camera functionalities.
To encourage participation during the OBT, GGU offered unique benefits. Players who engaged in the OBT received 20,000 Free Kafra Points daily and had access to exclusive in-game items, such as limited titles and costumes. Their feedback, gathered through surveys, will play a crucial role in shaping future updates and enhancements to the game.
Excitingly, GGU has plans for a user meetup in July, creating an opportunity for direct communication with the player community before the official launch. With the upcoming launch of global servers connecting Southeast Asia, Europe, and Oceania, cross-regional interactions are expected to flourish, enhancing the vibrancy of the community.
Gravity Game Unite's President, Harry Choi, expressed gratitude to all players who participated in the OBT, emphasizing the company’s commitment to integrating feedback into the game.
