AITO Partners with ADM: A New Era in Luxury Electric Vehicles
AITO, a leading luxury intelligent vehicle brand from China, has taken a significant step in its global strategy by signing a strategic partnership with Performance Plus Motors, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Motors (ADM). This agreement marks a pivotal moment for AITO as it aims to expand its footprint in the international luxury new energy vehicle (NEV) market. The signing ceremony took place in Chongqing, China, witnessing prominent figures such as Jason Wang, President of SERES AUTO Overseas BU, and Syed Faiz Karim, CEO of Abu Dhabi Motors.
A New Journey of Collaboration
With 40 years of experience, ADM stands as one of the Middle East's most influential luxury automotive dealer groups, supported by a vast sales network and a strong clientele of high-net-worth customers. This partnership with AITO is anticipated to create a symbiotic relationship that will bolster the luxury vehicle market in the region. AITO, known for its rapid growth, achieved a remarkable milestone by surpassing one million units in production in just 46 months. This growth was chiefly led by its flagship model, the AITO 9, which has dominated China's RMB 500,000+ vehicle segment for over 21 months.
The strategic collaboration aims to enhance both partners’ core competencies within the luxury automotive sector. Performance Plus Motors will manage the sales, delivery, and after-sales service of AITO's luxury models in the UAE. Plans are underway to establish various brand experience and service centers that promise to offer customers immersive and detailed experiences, resonating with AITO's premium positioning in the market.
Insights and Marketing Strategies
In addition to the logistical support, ADM is expected to apply its market insights to foster localized marketing and communication strategies that align with AITO's expansion goals. This includes cross-collaboration in customer service, market research, and resource sharing to solidify a mutually beneficial long-term partnership.
Jason Wang emphasized this collaboration as a crucial milestone in AITO's globalization agenda, marking the inception of an exciting venture into the luxury NEV sector in the Middle East. He noted that ADM's extensive local experience and resources will be invaluable to AITO's operations in the region, enhancing its capacity to deliver intelligent innovations to the Middle Eastern luxury car market.
Utilizing Local Resources
Syed Faiz Karim echoed similar sentiments by highlighting that AITO's technological prowess and quality align with the premium market's requirements in the region. He assured that ADM would leverage its strengths and operational advantages to aid AITO's enduring growth in the UAE and help explore new avenues within the luxury NEV market. This collaboration promises to not only enrich consumer experiences but also amplify the luxury segment's standards further.
Ready for Launch
Currently, AITO models have successfully passed the necessary adaptations for local hardware and software, alongside receiving required certifications. The AITO 9 has already begun user test drives in the UAE, marking a significant move as it becomes one of the first Chinese brands to actively engage overseas users. Furthermore, AITO vehicles have already reached Dubai's port, poised for immediate delivery upon the official launch.
The established local framework of ADM provides a solid base for AITO's market entry, ensuring a robust delivery and operational framework in the UAE. As AITO continues to develop its presence in the Middle East, this partnership lays a stepping stone for future expansions into neighboring regions, enhancing the brand's international visibility in the luxury intelligent NEV sector. As the luxury automotive landscape evolves, AITO and ADM aim to redefine the driving experiences available to consumers, embodying the essence of modern luxury.
