Habitat for Humanity Unites Corporate Partners for the 2025 Holiday Season

As we approach the 2025 holiday season, Habitat for Humanity is excited to announce a collaborative initiative with several esteemed corporate partners aimed at fostering stronger communities. In a time when family gatherings and the spirit of giving take center stage, these partners will play a pivotal role in promoting affordable housing and community support through creative fundraising efforts.

Charlita Stephens-Walker, Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and Cause Marketing at Habitat for Humanity International, aptly noted, "The holiday season is a joyful time of year where families and friends gather to celebrate, share in traditions, and create new memories. It also reminds us of the importance of giving back to our local communities and supporting the causes we care about." Her sentiments ring true, especially as we look forward to the global movement of Giving Tuesday, where efforts are amplified thanks to the support of corporate allies.

Key initiatives include:

  • - At Home: This home décor superstore is offering Habitat-branded items, with a commitment that part of the proceeds will help fund affordable housing initiatives. Their goal is to raise at least $150,000 to assist families in need.

  • - Giftcards.com: In partnership with BHN, this service is introducing One4all® Giving Good gift cards during the holiday season. Customers can select to donate 3% of the card’s value to Habitat at no additional cost, reinforcing the spirit of giving without financial burden.

  • - Floor Décor: From November 17 through December 26, customers can opt to contribute a donation during their purchases in-store. This program aims to enhance accessibility to safe housing options for families during the holiday season.

  • - Lazy Dog Restaurants: For those searching for festive activities, Lazy Dog is offering a DIY Gingerbread House Kit as part of their Houses for the Holidays™ campaign. Proceeds from these kits will contribute to their annual pledge of $100,000 to Habitat, alongside other co-branded gift card initiatives.

  • - Lowe's: Customers nationwide can participate in Lowe's Round Up for Charity campaign, where they can round up their in-store purchases to support both Habitat for Humanity International and Sleep in Heavenly Peace, with Habitat receiving half of the funds raised through this effort until February 1, 2026.

  • - QVC: Continuing their longstanding partnership with Habitat, QVC will dedicate 10% of the value of qualifying gift card sales on Giving Tuesday to Habitat for Humanity. They are also matching customer donations up to $100,000 and will donate a significant portion of the purchase price from select products to fund initiatives that empower women through Habitat's Women Build program.

Through these initiatives, Habitat for Humanity is embarking on a mission not just to build homes, but to nurture communities and spread hope during the most wonderful time of the year. The organization has been dedicated to offering opportunities for all individuals to achieve the dream of homeownership since its founding in 1976.

Recognized for its efforts, Habitat has made significant strides over the decades, impacting over 65 million people worldwide. This upcoming holiday season represents a crucial opportunity for everyone – individuals, families, and corporations alike – to join together in a collective effort to build a vibrant future.
