The 12th Heat Measures Exhibition: A Leading Edge in Heat Safety Solutions
The upcoming
12th Heat Measures Exhibition, organized by the
Japan Management Association (JMA), is set to take place from
July 15 to 17, 2026, at the
Tokyo Big Sight in the East Halls 7 and 8. This event aims to invigorate businesses related to heat management solutions, featuring the largest number of exhibitors to date—
191 companies showcasing 378 booths. With a forecast of
16,000 attendees, including participants from various sectors like corporate businesses, local governments, and educational institutions, this exhibition promises to be a monumental event in addressing the growing concerns over extreme heat and heat stroke prevention.
The rising temperatures, often exceeding
40 degrees Celsius, have prompted an urgent need for effective heat management solutions. The recent amendments to the Occupational Safety and Health Regulations further emphasize the importance of enhanced measures to combat heat stress in workplaces. To facilitate this, the exhibition will present cutting-edge products and services designed to help tackle these challenges head-on.
Innovative Products and Solutions
Visitors can expect to see a wide array of products ranging from everyday heat-relief items like
cooling wear, neck coolers, and
ice slurries, to advanced technologies like
climate-controlled clothing, Peltier cooling garments, and
wearable devices that visualize heat stress risks. Additionally, there will be large-scale air conditioning solutions aimed at manufacturing, construction, and logistics environments, catering to a multitude of sectors.
A standout feature of this year’s exhibition is the introduction of the
“Experience the Heat Zone,” designed to recreate the sweltering conditions of summer. Located both indoors and outdoors, this area will allow participants to experience products from
21 companies firsthand, testing their effectiveness and comfort in real heat conditions. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage directly with these innovative solutions, gaining insights into their practical applications.
Special Lectures and Insights
In conjunction with the exhibition, a series of
special lectures will be held daily from
July 15-17 featuring officials from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, the Ministry of Lands, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and the Ministry of the Environment, along with representatives from the Japan Occupational Safety and Health Consultant Association. These sessions will cover essential topics related to heat prevention and workplace safety, offering critical perspectives to vendors and attendees alike.
