Discover the Nippon no Kurashi Exhibition 2026
From December 26, 2025, to January 8, 2026, the Daikanyama T-SITE in Shibuya, Tokyo, will host the "Nippon no Kurashi Exhibition." This event takes place in the spacious Garden Gallery, marking a delightful moment for visitors during the festive New Year season when families gather to celebrate and prepare for the year ahead. The exhibition will proudly present exquisite crafted goods passed down through generations, inviting attendees to reflect on the "beautiful everyday life" that enriches our daily routines.
The theme for the 13th edition of this exhibition is
“Everyday Craftscape.” This theme acknowledges the hands that create and the land that nurtures these creations. From tilling soil to carving wood, weaving threads, and preparing food, all around us are materials and wisdom rooted in specific regions that quietly support our daily lives. Each moment from when a maker puts their heart into creating an object, to when a user integrates it into their life, contributes to the tapestry of our daily landscape. This exhibition is a place to encounter the beautiful scenery of daily life we craft together.
