X-HUB TOKYO 2025 Kickoff Event

On June 17, 2025, X-HUB TOKYO will launch its annual kickoff event, designed to energize and support startups in Tokyo that aspire to make their mark globally. Initiated by the Tokyo metropolitan government, the X-HUB TOKYO program seeks to promote interaction between local startups and foreign ones, further contributing to the revitalization of the local economy and strengthening the ecosystem of innovation.

The kickoff event will kick off with an overview of the X-HUB TOKYO project, illuminating its objectives and plans for the upcoming year. The first half will feature a keynote speech by Mr. Shingo Tsuda, the Technical Director of INDEE Japan and the CEO of INDEE Capital. He will discuss the importance of focusing on global business expansion from the very beginning of a startup's journey and share insights on the current environment surrounding Japanese startups.

In the latter half of the event, a panel discussion will highlight the secrets to success for startups thriving in international markets. Joining the discussion will be Mr. Takeshi Obayashi, CEO of INFORICH Expert, a company specializing in mobile battery sharing services, and Mr. Yosuke Okada, CEO of ABEJA, a company leveraging deep learning technology to support optimal business management. The session promises to offer valuable tips and varied perspectives on navigating international waters.

This event welcomes not only entrepreneurs interested in expanding overseas, but also supporters and partner organizations keen on fostering innovation. Attendees will have the invaluable opportunity to network and engage with speakers, industry leaders, and fellow startups potentially interested in collaboration.

Featured Speakers

Shingo Tsuda is the Technical Director of INDEE Japan and the CEO of INDEE Capital, with over a decade of experience in R&D related to hard disks. He has been instrumental in co-founding INDEE Japan, focusing on startup investments and deep tech. He has been involved with notable companies like Ubie, Thermalytica, and MENOU, and has authored a book titled “Super Intuition for Innovation.”
