Abura Soba Sohonten Expands with 28 New Stores

In an exciting development, Garden Co., Ltd., headquartered in Shinjuku, Tokyo, has announced a significant expansion of its popular restaurant chain, Abura Soba Sohonten. From June 13 to June 30, 2026, a total of 28 locations will be transformed into hybrid stores in collaboration with Ikakukiya, aiming to offer a unique dining experience for both locals and office workers alike.

Special Opening Promotions

Popular Dishes at Abura Soba Sohonten

One of the biggest attractions of Abura Soba Sohonten is its signature dish, Abura Soba, which is made from chewy, medium-thick noodles paired with a special sauce crafted through meticulous research. This dish is not only tastier than traditional ramen but is also a healthier option that doesn't compromise on satisfaction.

Other Noteworthy Menu Items

Alongside the standard Abura Soba, customers should not miss out on the Korean Seaweed Onsen Egg Abura Soba—a unique topping that combines the sweet and salty flavors of Korean seaweed with a soft-boiled egg for an inviting, rich taste.

Prices for Abura Soba start at 810 yen (tax included: 890 yen), while the delectable Korean variant begins at 919 yen (tax included: 1,010 yen).

Customizable Toppings and Seasonings

Abura Soba is also known for its wide variety of toppings and seasonings, allowing diners to customize their bowls to their liking. New toppings such as spicy sauce, boiled eggs, fried onions, and even parmesan cheese are being added to the menu, enhancing the overall experience. Seasonings like Cajun, curry powder, and dried fish powder will also be available to give each dish a distinct twist.
