In April 2025, iTeen, a programming school franchise, successfully launched its first-ever national typing competition, the iTeen Typing Contest, across its partner schools in Japan. This event marked a significant achievement for the organization as it sought to promote typing skills among students.

The typing contest was open to various course categories, including preschoolers, elementary students from grades 1 to 6, and an expert course that combined all eight levels of participation. Participants could freely practice using their designated practice materials from the Knowledge Typing® for Contest platform before the competition. This innovative approach allowed students to hone their skills using the same questions they would face during the contest.

During the specified challenge period, entrants simply clicked the 'Contest' button to record their typing scores, making the process straightforward and accessible for everyone involved.

Each course included multiple award categories, fostering a sense of achievement among all participants.
