On June 3, 2025, Yukiyoshi Watanabe, the President of ISFNET, participated as a speaker at a commemorative lecture hosted by the Yonago Human Rights Corporate Coordination Council. Theme of the Lecture: Social Firms and Sustainability



Watanabe's presentation was centered around the theme "Social Firms and Mission: Sustainable Social Contribution through Employment of People Facing Challenges in Finding Work." He shared the journey of ISFNET regarding Diversity and Inclusion Employment. By emphasizing the importance of diversity in the workplace, he discussed the implementation of ISC/DSP principles, which guide ISFNET's efforts toward fostering an inclusive culture.

During the lecture, Watanabe reiterated his personal experiences and insights gathered from employing individuals with disabilities and those lacking sufficient skills or experience. He made it clear that understanding and accommodating diverse needs are crucial from a managerial perspective. Watanabe highlighted the importance of creating a corporate culture that is free from discrimination and bias, which encourages employees to express their unique attributes openly.

Emphasizing DEI and Its Initiatives



The highlights of the lecture included concrete initiatives ISFNET has put in place to promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) within the company. Watanabe also discussed the ongoing developments in social welfare initiatives and the integration of welfare businesses with special subsidiary companies, underscoring ISFNET’s commitment to serving a diverse employee base. He concluded the session by encouraging all participating companies to start noticing how they can initiate their DEI journey without overwhelming their operations.
