Christian Brothers Automotive Expands Strong Legacy with New Awards and Innovative Initiatives
Christian Brothers Automotive Experiences Tremendous Growth at Mid-Year 2026
Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA), a well-respected name in the automotive repair industry, is celebrating significant growth halfway through 2026. With 14 new franchise awards granted across the United States, CBA now operates 339 franchises with 96 additional locations set to open soon. This expansion marks a promising path towards becoming a more trusted brand in auto care.
In the first half of the year alone, CBA issued awards to new franchise locations in diverse markets such as Boerne, Texas; Charleston, South Carolina; Fort Myers, Florida; and several others. Remarkably, this year’s award cycle includes two locations operated by graduates of CBA’s Future Franchise Leadership Academy (FFLA). Wes Prichard will take the helm in Loveland, Ohio, while Jeremy Winters is preparing to open in Lenexa, Kansas. This focus on nurturing new franchise owners underscores CBA’s commitment to strengthening its franchise network through education and support.
CBA’s strategic expansion now includes a presence in Cheyenne, Wyoming, making it the 31st state featuring a CBA franchise. Not only that, but the company has also secured a site in Las Vegas for future development, eyeing state number 32 as part of its disciplined market growth strategy. Brad Fink, CBA’s Chief Growth Officer, noted that such achievements affirm the effectiveness of their rigorous franchise selection process.
Aside from its development milestones, CBA has garnered significant accolades, securing three honors from the Franchise Business Review: Top Franchises for Culture, Top Franchises for Women, and the Satisfaction Award. These distinctions reflect positive feedback from franchisees and bolster CBA's reputation as a people-centric company.
Innovation also plays a key role in CBA's mid-year accomplishments. The launch of the Trust Builders program allows for a more transparent digital inspection experience, ensuring customers receive precise information about their vehicles and can make informed care decisions. This initiative embodies CBA’s ethos of honesty and integrity, enhancing customer trust.
Perhaps the most significant achievement this year is the groundbreaking of the Mark A. Carr Technology Training Center in Katy, Texas. This facility, named in honor of the brand’s founder, involves a $12 million investment aimed at improving technician education and training. The 14,000-square-foot center is projected to offer various courses, from entry-level apprenticeship programs to specialized classes in electric and hybrid vehicle systems. The center is set to open in early 2027 and marks the beginning of CBA's vision to consolidate its corporate Support Center at the same location, creating a unified operational hub.
Donnie Carr, President and CEO of CBA, expressed that this center is crucial for the future of the company and reflects the importance of investing in people and communities, principles held dear by the Carr family since the brand's inception in 1982.
Heading into the latter half of 2026, with 96 additional franchise locations currently in various stages of development, CBA is actively seeking qualified franchisees in key markets across the nation.
