Pan Global Resources Reports High Gold Intersections at Cármenes Project in Spain

Pan Global Resources Announces Significant Gold Findings at Cármenes Project

On September 9, 2025, Pan Global Resources Inc. excitedly announced initial assay results showing promising gold mineralization at their Cármenes project, located in northern Spain. These findings are particularly important as they reveal high-grade gold intersections just below the surface.

Key Highlights

In their recent reports, Pan Global disclosed that drillhole PVD06, completed at the Providencia target area, intersected 34 meters of gold mineralization averaging 3.01 g/t from 131 meters depth, with a standout interval of 5 meters boasting an impressive 8.93 g/t gold found at the same depth. Other notable assays include:
  • - 2 meters at 15.18 g/t gold from 133 meters
  • - 4.7 meters at 5.65 g/t from 143 meters
  • - Up to 17.6 g/t gold over a 1 meter interval from 134 meters

These results come from the first round of drilling aimed at an anomalous gold mineralization zone located east of the historical workings at the Providencia site, reinforcing the ongoing potential of the Cármenes project.

Geological Insights

The mineralization primarily occurs within hematitic carbonate breccias with significant hydrothermal alterations. Drillhole PVD06 further extends the known gold-bearing zone 70 meters eastward from previous drillhole PVD02, which averaged 1.08 g/t gold over 46 meters.

According to Tim Moody, President and CEO of Pan Global Resources, “These latest results expand the near-surface gold mineralization at Providencia and encompass the highest-grade gold intersection recorded to date. This area has previously shown highly anomalous gold signals in soil sampling, trenching, and channel samples.” He expressed optimism regarding the potential for discovering additional high-grade mineralization based on the extensive drilling targets in the Cármenes project area.

The Cármenes site is strategically located about 55 kilometers north of León and encompasses five research permits covering 5,653 hectares of highly prospective geology characterized by numerous clusters of copper, nickel, cobalt, and gold mineralization in tubular breccia matrices. The historical mines Profunda and Providencia operated until the 1930s, yielding copper and cobalt concentrates, suggesting that significant mineral potential remains unexplored.

Next Steps in Exploration

As construction and exploration continue, Pan Global is also advancing projects in other areas, including the flagship Escacena project, which is noted for its copper-tin-silver prospects. A dedicated drilling team is currently expanding the La Romana deposit, while waiting for results from other exploratory targets such as Hornitos and Plomillos, which are going through initial drills.

Tim Moody emphasized, “With multiple unexplored targets and promising assay results, the Cármenes project could significantly contribute to our resource portfolio, highlighting the vast potential that lies within these mineralized systems.”

Conclusion

Pan Global Resources remains committed to exploring high-potential areas across their extensive project portfolio in Spain. The newly released assay results from the Cármenes project underscore the potential for further discoveries in underexplored regions, solidifying their strategic positioning within the European mining landscape. As the company prepares for the next phase of drilling and resource estimation, the industry watches closely for further advancements in this promising story of mining exploration and innovation.
