The journey began in 2011 when Hirose launched 'Tachikawa Koshira & Shunputei Ichinosuke's New Japan Storytelling,' focusing on presenting an exciting mix of young talent in Rakugo. Following the success of the initial series, the 'New Japan's Storytelling' project was launched in 2012 and developed into the spinoff series 'More! New Japan's Storytelling' in 2019. This transition brought about new dynamics, marked by the graduation of performer Mankichi, leading to a fresh blend of talent featuring Koshira and Baruko, alongside guest performers.

This year, Koshira himself graduated, paving the way for a new ensemble cast led by Baruko, now joined by Yanagitei Shingaku, Tachikawa Kashime, and Natsunokamo, creating an exciting four-member regular team. The concept of unique pairings aims to deliver an experience fans cannot find elsewhere.
