Tokyo’s Meiji Park: A Venue for Breaking Communication Barriers with Subtitles!
In an innovative move aimed at enhancing communication accessibility, Meiji Park, located in the heart of Tokyo, has embraced a unique initiative aptly named "A Park with Subtitles." This project is led by the Tokyo Legacy Parks Corporation in collaboration with various prominent organizations including Mitsui & Co., Japan Engineering Consultants, Seibu Landscape, Yomiuri Advertising, and Nippon TV Axon.
Based on the concept of fostering better communication, this event will take place from November 15 to December 7, 2025, coinciding with the "World of Subtitles Exhibition in Tokyo," organized by YYSystem, a group known for providing total support for the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics.
Bridging Communication Gaps
During the event, several establishments within the park will incorporate the YYSystem application series, specifically designed to support communication among individuals with varying hearing and language abilities. This initiative aims to create an inclusive environment where everyone can interact seamlessly. The YYSystem employs a unique algorithm that visualizes sound and voices, making communication easier in a variety of settings.

Special Event: Find the Waiwai Friends!
On November 22, a special event titled "Find the Waiwai Friends!" will be held, where several notable participants will make appearances. Among them are influencer Mari Yoshida, the hearing-impaired influencer Usagi, and the sister duo Land Hey, who are known for their sign language performances. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with these influencers, and those who interact and fulfill certain challenges will receive special merchandise and valuable tickets for use within Meiji Park.

The Essence of the World of Subtitles Exhibition in Tokyo
The "World of Subtitles Exhibition in Tokyo" is a participatory campaign that will take place throughout the Tokyo area during the same dates. YYSystem aims to establish over 100 locations, including value-added places like transportation hubs, hotels, beauty salons, cafes, and more to eliminate barriers related to hearing and language. The initiative will also feature "Waiwai Spots," places where the YYSystem is implemented, and participants can collect digital stamps. Collecting three stamps will award them a 500 yen QUO Pay.
