This summer, Houston is set to shine as the city’s seven Cultural Districts proudly unveil HTXArts, a comprehensive free guide designed to connect both residents and visitors with the vibrant arts scene. Spanning June and July 2026, this shared arts calendar provides access to hundreds of performances, exhibitions, and cultural events across the city.

The newly launched HTXArts calendar serves as a one-stop destination for arts lovers eager to explore Houston's rich cultural offerings. From world-renowned performance venues and acclaimed museums to local galleries and community spaces, the platform celebrates a variety of art forms, including dance, film, literature, music, theater, and visual arts—all contributed by Houston's diverse nonprofit arts community.

Mark Your Calendars for Exciting Events


The summer lineup features three major free events that anchor the city’s arts activities:

1. Juneteenth Houston (June 1–19): A citywide celebration of freedom and Black culture that showcases the spirit and resilience of the community through events and activities across Greater Houston. For more information, visit Juneteenth Houston.

2. Make Music Day (June 21): Transforming local parks and public spaces into stages, this global celebration invites musicians of all genres to perform in and around Houston, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with live music. Check out Make Music Day for details.
