Kaplan and Alive Studios Join Forces to Enhance Literacy Learning for Kids

Kaplan and Alive Studios Join Forces

In a groundbreaking initiative aimed at addressing the pressing literacy crisis affecting young learners across the United States, Kaplan Early Learning Company has partnered with Alive Studios, a trailblazing edtech firm specializing in early childhood education. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in enhancing literacy skills among pre-kindergarten students, targeting the critical early years of learning where foundational skills are developed.

The Interactive Zoo Panel

The cornerstone of this partnership is the Interactive Zoo Panel, a 55-inch Android TouchPanel that is pre-loaded with innovative, research-driven content designed to bolster literacy and maths skills. This state-of-the-art educational tool incorporates captivating 3D Augmented Reality zoo animals to engage children aged 3 to 6 years old, creating a fun and immersive learning environment.

Equipped with the Alive Studios Zoo Learning Experience™, the panel features various award-winning applications such as Letters alive® and Math alive®, along with six Zoo Crew Apps™ and popular Android Classroom Apps. This comprehensive solution is set to revolutionize the approach to early childhood literacy and math learning.

Focus on Accessibility and Engagement

Cynthia Kaye, CEO of Alive Studios, emphasized the importance of making such educational resources available to all students, regardless of their background. She stated,  "We poured our hearts into creating the Interactive Zoo Panel. It's designed to be affordable, equitable, and accessible—without requiring internet access or collecting student data. Our goal was to create a resource that teachers can depend on, like a reliable home appliance."

Kaye also highlighted that the panel complies with the guidelines set forth by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), ensuring suitability for educational settings.

Early Positive Outcomes

Feedback from early adopters of the Interactive Zoo Panel has been overwhelmingly positive, with teachers reporting immediate enhancements in student engagement and understanding. Mr. Jay, a pre-K teacher from the Atlanta area, shared his enthusiasm: "The new Zoo Panel has been a game-changer for my students and me, making early literacy incredibly fun and engaging. My students are now eager to explore letter sounds, animals, and sentence building!" He also noted its value in helping teachers assess individual learning needs, crucial for preparing students for future academic success.

The panel is currently available for an introductory price of $5,995, but this offer is set to expire after June 30, 2025.
