Mizutani reflects,

About Akito Mizutani
Born in 1940 in Nagano Prefecture, Akito Mizutani graduated from Tokyo Polytechnic University in 1965 and began his career as a freelance photographer. After initially focusing on mountain photography, he transitioned to skiing and later developed his expertise in sports photography, documenting numerous World Cup events and championships. In addition to his remarkable portfolio, Mizutani is committed to nurturing young photographers through his photo workshop,
Mizutani Juku. His accolades include the prestigious Kodansha Publishing Culture Award and many more.
