The much-anticipated variety program, 'Setting San,' is back for its twelfth season starting December 4th, 2025. This engaging show features popular comedians who compete in a lively ogiri (a form of Japanese comedic banter) to create unique manga settings. What’s New in Season 12?
This season, comedy duo Tontukatan's Shintaro Morimoto joins as a new panelist. Returning members include Yes! Akito, Toros Salmon's Kazunobu Kubota, Minamikawa, Slim Club's Ken Maeda, Niboshi Iwashi's Kasetsu Iwashi, Mama Tarte's Yohei Hibara and Katsu Teruhana, Harisenbon's Haruka Minowa, Panther's Ryotaro Suga, Machiura Pink, and Shinkuu Jeshika's Shigeyuki Kawakita and Gaku. Together, they will generate hilarious settings through an exciting lineup of ogiri challenges.

An impressive total of 1 million yen in prize money is up for grabs in each episode, with the overall winner receiving a chance to debut in 'comipo comics' and a cash prize of 500,000 yen.
