SPACETIDE 2025: Unlocking Space for All Humanity
The 10th International Space Business Conference,
SPACETIDE 2025, will take place from
July 7 to July 10, 2025 in the
Toranomon area of Tokyo. This year's event promises an exciting line-up as it incorporates keynote speeches, side events, and a wealth of networking opportunities within the space industry.
Keynote Speakers
Highlighting the keynote sessions will be
Jo Niuchi, Japan’s Minister of Economic Security, alongside the iconic animation director
Yoshiyuki Tomino. This year's main theme,
“The Next Decade: Unlocking Space for All Humanity,” emphasizes creating an inclusive framework for all of humanity to explore and utilize space resources.
Minister Niuchi will deliver the opening keynote, addressing the government's initiatives to strengthen the space industry through funding, regulations, and workforce development. As a key figure in the government's strategy, he aims to enhance Japan’s competitiveness in the global space arena while promoting international collaboration and supply chain resilience contributing to economic security.
Yoshiyuki Tomino, best known for his works in anime, is also set to captivate audiences with his insights on the future of space exploration. Tomino has long championed a vision where space is democratized for humanity, and he will present a keynote questioning the potential realization of a
“Universal Century” and the value of space business within this context.
Side Events and Highlights
In addition to the keynotes, SPACETIDE 2025 will feature several side events, including the
SPACE2Earth Asia Summit 2025, marking its first-time occurrence in Japan, and a dedicated career event called
Career Connect 2025 Summer. Participants can anticipate engaging with global stakeholders in the space industry through an array of content designed to connect the contemporary issues of the sector.
Moreover, the event will welcome over

On Day 3, attendees will hear from

Falcon to Starship and the evolution of launch systems beyond Earth orbit.
