Since its publication in 2006, 'Spice and Wolf' has captivated readers worldwide, and in 2026, it proudly marks its 20th anniversary. This major exhibition will take place in Tokyo and Osaka, offering fans an immersive experience that reflects on the journey and charm of this beloved franchise.

A Look Back at a Cultural Phenomenon



'Illustrating the world of commerce, economics, negotiation, travel, and cross-cultural exchange, 'Spice and Wolf' has garnered continuous support from fans across generations and borders. This exhibition, produced in collaboration with Tokyo Fuji University and the Spice and Wolf 20th Anniversary Executive Committee, aims to holistically showcase the allure and development of the work. The Tokyo venue will be located in the Prism Hall on the 4th floor of the Niugami Auditorium at Tokyo Fuji University. Spanning approximately 500 square meters, the exhibition will combine display and event areas, creating the largest exhibition space to date in celebration of the anniversary.

As part of the cultural exchange project 'J-Culture Exchange 2026 (JCX26),' this exhibition serves as a primary program to convey the charm of the work to future generations and audiences around the globe.

Exhibition Highlights



  • - Seasonal Illustrations: The Tokyo venue will showcase original illustrations themed around 'Spring' and 'Summer,' while the Osaka venue will highlight 'Autumn' and 'Winter.'
  • - Large Photo Spots: Experience the world of 'Spice and Wolf' with immersive photo spots, featuring a backdrop panel approximately 2,500 mm tall and life-sized character panels.
  • - Historical Illustrative Displays: In honor of the milestone, expect the largest display of historical illustrations in the series' history.
  • - Document Displays: Explore the world of 'Spice and Wolf' through setting materials and related documents that deepen your understanding of the work's universe and production background.
  • - Q&A with Creators: A new feature showcasing questions and answers from original author Isuna Hasekura and illustrator Ju Ayakura.
  • - Anniversary Art Graph: Purchase signed limited edition reproductions of original illustrations created for the anniversary, with daily lottery chances for attendees.
