Innovative Event on Regional Management: Embracing DAO and Metaverse Technologies in Shibuya
On November 30, 2025, a groundbreaking event titled "A Night Discussing Relationship Populations and Digital" will take place at Shibuya QWS, hosted by the Amakusa Island's Home Town Charm Promotion Foundation, located in the remote Amano in the Oki Islands, Shimane Prefecture. The Amano Island, home to just 2,300 residents, faced a financial crisis over twenty years ago but has since flourished through collaboration among local residents and supporters. The official ambassador program is set to fully launch in 2024 and has already registered over 350 members.
