The 2026 Stuck At Prom® Scholarship Contest has opened its voting period, inviting the public to support innovative high school students who have transformed Duck Tape® into stunning prom attire. From bold dresses to sharp tuxedos, these young designers have invested countless hours and creativity into their outfits for a chance to win substantial scholarships, with the top designs vying for a $10,000 prize.

A Platform for Creativity


Duck Tape® is not just for quick fixes; it has evolved into a medium for creative expression through fashion design. The annual Stuck At Prom® contest challenges students to craft wearable art using rolls of Duck Tape®, thus merging creativity with practical skills. This year marks the contest’s 26th iteration, highlighting an exciting trend where adhesive tape meets high fashion.

Top 10 Finalists Unveiled


On June 29, 2026, Duck® Brand revealed the Top 10 finalists selected from a vast pool of 161 submissions. Each finalist created a unique ensemble characterized by intricate construction techniques, vibrant colors, and thoughtful details. Alison Wills, the senior product manager at Shurtape Technologies, the parent company of Duck®, expressed her admiration for the level of craftsmanship displayed.

- Kaitlyn Bowden from Odenville, Alabama: 17 rolls, 140 hours

- Jeremiah Constantine from Westland, Michigan: 46 rolls, 61 hours
- Parker Nye from Tiffan, Ohio: 22 rolls, 25 hours
- Matthew Bissada from Encino, California: 27 rolls, 208 hours
- Aiden Mattauszek from Alexandria, Virginia: 27 rolls, 106 hours
- Imogen Curry from Hillsborough, North Carolina: 21 rolls, 109 hours

Voting Process & Awards


Voting for the top designs is open now and will run until July 13, 2026. The outfits that receive the most votes will be awarded with $10,000 scholarships each for the best dress and tux. Additionally, eight runners-up will take home $1,000 each, along with a Duck® Brand prize pack. Special awards will also be given for the trendiest design, the most inspiring theme, and a new category focusing on patriotic designs.
