John Nardone Appointed CEO of JWP Connatix

JWP Connatix, a top-tier platform for video technology and monetization, proudly announces the appointment of John Nardone as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. This strategic hiring comes at a crucial time following the recent merger that united JW Player and Connatix, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of the company.

The merger has positioned JWP Connatix to provide powerful solutions for broadcasters and publishers, enabling them to effectively manage, distribute, and monetize their video content. By merging JW Player's outstanding video management and delivery technology with Connatix's robust monetization capabilities, the company now stands at the forefront of transformative growth in the digital media sphere.

In his new role, Nardone is expected to spearhead innovations within the company's video technology platform while ensuring that it seamlessly integrates various monetization solutions that content owners require to thrive. This dual focus aims to augment JWP Connatix's reputation as the preferred video platform for content owners navigating the complexities of the digital video ecosystem.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Nardone stated, "I am thrilled and honored by the opportunity to lead JWP Connatix through its next phase of transformational growth. With a talented global team of experts in video and advertising technology, JWP Connatix is already well-positioned in the thriving video industry, the most consumed format online. As the demand for reliable and ROI-driven video solutions grows, publishers, broadcasters, and CTV platforms are vying for both consumer attention and advertising revenue. We are uniquely equipped to support them in all facets—from infrastructure to monetization and the exciting AI-driven applications on the horizon. I look forward to unlocking the full potential of JWP Connatix during this transformative era of video innovation."

Nardone joins JWP Connatix with an impressive portfolio that reflects his pioneering role in shaping the media and marketing technology landscape. His career spans nearly three decades, marked by his role as President of the first digital agency, Modem Media, and as a key founding board member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). Most recently, Nardone served as President of MediaOcean, where he led the development of its converged video, streaming, and linear television platform.

Before MediaOcean, he achieved notable success with companies like Flashtalking and [X+1], consistently driving significant growth through innovative leadership and vision.

Dave Otten, the outgoing CEO of JWP Connatix, expressed confidence in Nardone's leadership, affirming, "I have every confidence that the company will thrive under John's leadership. The time is right for a seasoned leader to tackle the extraordinary growth opportunities ahead of us. We are excited about what John brings to our customers, partners, and employees."
