About Haruka Sawada

Haruka Sawada hails from Nagano Prefecture and began her artistic journey after graduating from a Kyoto art university. She later moved to Fukui, where she commenced painting while working at a silkscreen workshop. After her debut exhibition in 2015, she continued to showcase her work throughout the region, emphasizing her dedication to the local art scene. Recently, Sawada has also ventured into installation art and collaborations with traditional craft artisans, further enriching her artistic portfolio. Since 2025, she has operated between Sapporo and Sabie, blending the cultural influences of both locations.
