The rickshaw will feature a special design inspired by the Kabuki performance titled "Sekai no Hanamusubu Kotonowa," which will not only enhance the visual appeal but also incorporate cutting-edge AI simultaneous translation technology from Pocketalk. This technology aims to bridge the language gap for international tourists, making communication seamless and enriching the sightseeing experience.

Launch Event to Kick Off the Experience

Ahead of the rickshaw's official operation, an unveiling event is scheduled for December 2, where renowned Kabuki actor Shido Nakamura will grace the occasion. Attendees will be treated to a glimpse of the beautifully wrapped rickshaw, as well as a festive atmosphere signifying the start of a new chapter in experiential tourism in the area. Shido Nakamura's presence elevates the event, highlighting the intersection of traditional performance art and modern innovation.

Details of the Rickshaw Experience

The rickshaw will operate daily from 10 AM to 6 PM between December 4 and December 26, 2025, except on days when Kabuki performances are not held or during inclement weather. It will provide three distinct tour routes:

1. Trial Course (Approx. 10 minutes): A short introduction to the area's highlights, tourists can sample local attractions and dining spots.
- Price: ¥5,000 (for two persons) and ¥4,000 (for one person)

2. Shinbashi Enbujou Course (Approx. 30 minutes): This route will delve deeper into the theater culture surrounding East Ginza.
- Price: ¥10,000 (for two persons) and ¥9,000 (for one person)

3. Tsukiji Tour Course (Approx. 60 minutes): A more extended option offering insights into the unique architecture and Buddhist influences in the area.
- Price: ¥20,000 (for two persons) and ¥16,000 (for one person)
- This option includes a stop at Tsukiji Hongan-ji, subject to accessibility on event days.
