Exciting Update for 'Hologuard'

On September 8, 2026, C.C.M.C announced a free update for the quiz game 'Hologuard,' a part of the 'holo Indie' series from Hololive Production. This latest update introduces five new characters from the 'hololive FLOW GLOW' group, expanding the game's roster to a total of 45 talents.

New Additions to the Talents

Players can now encounter five exciting new personalities: Riona Hibiki, Kirakira Kihou, Mizumi Koru, Chihayato Wado, and Vivira Kirara. Each of these characters comes with distinct pixel art and unique profiles, enhancing the immersive experience of the game. Players are encouraged to explore the new character trivia and test their knowledge through challenging quizzes.

Adding a New Challenging Mode

Alongside the new character additions, the update also features the highest difficulty level yet in the 'Yontaku Mode'—the '150-person endurance challenge'. This new mode increases the stakes, providing players with four levels of difficulty: ‘25 people’, ‘All’, ‘100 people’, and the ultimate ‘150 people’. Gamers will need to leverage all their knowledge about Hololive to conquer this demanding new challenge.

Pricing Changes to Reflect Enhanced Content

In tandem with the numerous enhancements made since its release, a price adjustment was implemented on August 28, 2026, to reflect the increased game volume. Initially priced at 500 yen, the new price in Japan stands at 800 yen, with adjustments made to international prices as well. This reflects the greater number of talents included and the addition of various gameplay modes like 'Yontaku Mode' and the high-difficulty 'Late Night Operations Mode'.

About 'Hologuard'

'Hologuard' is an intriguing quiz game where players step into the role of a trainee receptionist at the Hololive office. Your task involves verifying the identity of incoming Hololive talents by checking their ID cards and profiles while occasionally conducting simple interviews to determine if each talent is real or fake.
