FamilyMart and Coca-Cola's Collaborative LGBTQ Awareness Campaign
On December 12, 2025, FamilyMart, Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan, and the nonprofit organization ReBit conducted a pivotal LGBTQ awareness class for 2nd-year middle school students in Kawasaki City. This initiative, named "What is Diverse Gender? - Aiming for a Society That Accepts Each Other's Differences," represents a significant collaboration aimed at fostering understanding and acceptance of sexual diversity among the next generation.
The session featured notable presenters from each organization. Kaori Shimizu from Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan's Human Resources and DE&I department, Aimi Takeuchi from FamilyMart's Marketing and Sustainability group, and Hirokazu Saito from ReBit's educational department shared their insights and experiences with the students.
