Residents of East Hartford and surrounding areas are encouraged to participate in the turkey drive, which will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the university campus located at 167 Riverside Drive. Participants can simply drive to the collection point and hand their donations directly to volunteers, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

This year, Goodwin University has set an ambitious goal of collecting 100 turkeys, along with $1,000 in monetary donations. Every contribution, whether it be a turkey or funds, will help support families in need, providing them with the means to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal together.
