Metro Diner Expands to Indian Land, SC
Metro Diner, a popular destination known for its modern spins on classic American comfort food, has officially opened its doors at 2077 Parkway Drive, Suite 101 within the CrossRidge retail and commercial center, marking the chain's first venture into Indian Land, South Carolina. This exciting new opening adds to the diner's expanding footprint, a testament to its growing popularity across the Eastern United States.
Nestled just 20 miles south of the bustling Charlotte metro area, the 3,258-square-foot diner can accommodate 94 guests indoors as well as an additional 32 patrons on its covered patio. The venture is helmed by Managing Partner Josh Collins, a Charlotte native with two decades of experience in the restaurant industry. Collins brings to the table an impressive background, having spent the last eight years working with Metro Diner in nearby Pineville, NC.
"I'm thrilled to introduce Metro Diner to this rapidly growing community," Collins expressed. He emphasized that his team's goal is to provide an experience that keeps customers returning to savor everything the menu has to offer.
Metro Diner's menu features a range of hearty portions and is beloved for its all-day breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings. Diners can indulge in a variety of delectable comfort food options, including numerous omelets, vibrant breakfast platters, BBQ ribs, and specialty burgers crafted from 100% Angus beef. One standout dish is the renowned
Iron City Meatloaf, which gained national recognition after being featured on Food Network's beloved show,
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives with Guy Fieri. Fieri relished the meatloaf's homey flavor and unique preparation, resonating with customers and critics alike.
Further captivating diners is the famed
Fried Chicken Waffle, a delicious combination that features half a juicy fried chicken served on a Belgian waffle. Topped with a rich strawberry butter and accompanied by a signature sweet-and-spicy sauce, it's a dish sure to become a go-to for brunch, lunch, or dinner.
Beyond delicious food, Collins is also passionate about becoming an active member of the Indian Land community. He looks forward to engaging with local organizations that support first responders and programs for children on the autism spectrum. Moreover, the diner continues to honor first responders and military personnel with a generous discount of 10% off for uniformed services and both active and retired military members.
Initially, Metro Diner will operate from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. However, there are plans to extend its hours to accommodate dinner service in the near future. Those interested in learning more about the diner can reach out at 803-402-3173 or visit their website at
