Busch Gardens Unveils an Exciting Summer Lineup

As summer approaches, the anticipation is building for unforgettable family fun at Busch Gardens in both Tampa Bay and Williamsburg. The parks have announced a spectacular lineup for the season, featuring immersive entertainment, thrilling drone shows, exciting experiences, and even free beer! This summer promises to deliver more fun and excitement than ever.

New Attractions and Exciting Performances

Starting May 22, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay kicks off the season with its renowned Summer Nights event, running until August 9. Guests can experience thrilling nighttime rides, extended park hours, and all-new entertainment experiences. A highlight of this year's Summer Nights includes the breathtaking Wild Skies Drone Show, a spectacular display featuring 400 synchronized drones combined with impressive fireworks. This show will take place every weekend from Friday to Sunday.

Additionally, the Lion and Hyena Ridge, the park's most expansive animal habitat in over a decade, will open, allowing visitors to get up close with a pair of hyenas and five majestic male lions in an immersive environment.

Not to be missed is the all-new Beach Bash show in Gwazi Plaza, displaying a high-energy retro vibe, along with the return of the popular Boom Box Dance Party in Stanleyville. Families can also enjoy returning fan-favorite indoor shows like Cirque Electric, Animal Tales, and Rhythm of Nature to escape the summer heat.

And for adults over 21, the Free Beer promotion returns at the Serengeti Overlook restaurant from May 22 to August 9!

For Annual Pass Members, exclusive perks await during the Pass Member Appreciation Weekend on May 30-31, offering early ride times and unique experiences.

As the season goes on, Busch Gardens will continue to celebrate summer with its Bier Fest Brews & BBQ, which runs from July 24 to August 30, featuring seasonal craft brews and delicious BBQ dishes paired with electrifying live entertainment.

At the beautiful Busch Gardens Williamsburg, the summer will feature its wildly popular Food & Wine Festival, showcasing over 135 international flavors and concerts from notable artists including Hoobastank and Skillet, held Thursdays through Sundays until June 21.

Commencing on June 26, the park will kick off the Summer of Wonder, introducing thrilling new rides like the Verbolten Forbidden Turn, which offers a unique story-driven experience as the Mid-Atlantic's first drop-track roller coaster.

An electrifying drone show will also premiere, accompanied by a vibrant new performance called Across the Pond: Legends of the UK, celebrating iconic British music. Another show, Kinetix The Next Generation, promises to dazzle audiences with high-energy performances featuring acrobats and vocalists.

And don’t forget, Busch Gardens Williamsburg will also partake in the 250th Anniversary celebrations with patriotic events and fireworks scheduled for July 4.
