On August 22, 2026, the esteemed Imperial Hotel Tokyo will host its annual event, the Tozai Odori, at the Peacock Room on the second floor of the main building. The event features an elegant performance that brings together the artistry of geishas from Kyoto's Gion district and Tokyo's Shinbashi district.

The Tozai Odori, which began in 2010 to celebrate the Imperial Hotel's 120th anniversary, has become a cherished summer tradition. This enchanting performance showcases the grace and beauty of 34 performers from two of Japan's most renowned geisha districts: Gion Kobu in Kyoto and Shinbashi in Tokyo. The day will feature two shows with the following schedule:

- Evening Show:

- Dining starts at 7:20 PM
