Live Streaming of the 2026 World Junior Figure Skating Championships

The excitement for the 2026 World Junior Figure Skating Championships is building as Fuji TV announces its live streaming on FOD, scheduled from March 4 to March 7. This annual event, governed by the International Skating Union (ISU), will be held in Tallinn, Estonia, showcasing the best young talents from around the globe.

Since its inception in 1976, the World Junior Figure Skating Championships have offered a platform for junior skaters to shine. This year, all performances from each category will be accessible live, allowing fans to witness the skating prowess of various competitors.

Among the highlights is the participation of Japanese athlete Mao Shimada, who is on the verge of making history. Having already secured three consecutive victories since her debut in 2023, she is now striving for an unprecedented fourth title. This pursuit has captured the attention of skating enthusiasts, given her remarkable skill and consistent performance. The competition will also feature talented skaters such as Yuko Oka and Mei Okada, who are expected to contend for medals, adding to Japan's strong representation.

On the men's side, Rishi Nakata is another athlete to watch, with expectations high for him to clinch a second consecutive championship. His proficiency, particularly in executing quadruple jumps, rivals even senior competitors. Alongside teammates Taiho Nishino and Daisuke Ebiwara, Nakata will face tough competition from international skaters, testing their limits as they vie for gold.

The ice dance category will see newcomers Kaho Yamashita and Yuto Nagata making their debut at this prestigious event, further intensifying the competition.
