IATSS Forum Celebrates 40 Years of Nurturing Future Leaders in Asia
Celebrating 40 Years of the IATSS Forum
The IATSS Forum, which began its journey in 1985, is set to commemorate its 40th anniversary with a series of special events designed to reflect on its past achievements and future vision. This organization has dedicated four decades to developing young leaders primarily from ASEAN countries and India under the guiding principle of "Thinking and Learning Together." Established by Soichiro Honda and Takeo Fujisawa's own funds, the IATSS Forum aims to cultivate individuals committed to enhancing traffic safety and addressing social issues worldwide.
As part of the 40th-anniversary celebration, the IATSS Forum has planned various significant programs:
- Opening Ceremony for the Newly Renovated Suzuka Circuit Hotel South Wing: This event will unveil the Forum's upgraded facilities, showcasing its commitment to providing an immersive environment for learning and collaboration.
- 40th Anniversary Commemorative Ceremony: Here, the Forum will present its journey over the past four decades, highlighting key milestones and future aspirations.
- 11th International Alumni Conference: This gathering aims to foster dialogue among alumni from various countries, encouraging the exchange of ideas and experiences.
- 40th Anniversary Publication: A special commemorative booklet summarizing the activities from 2015 to 2025 will be released, serving as a testament to the Forum's sustained impact over the years.
Beyond its celebratory events, the IATSS Forum remains committed to nurturing talents that transcend national and generational boundaries. By focusing on the sustainable development of the international community—with a particular emphasis on the Asian region—the Forum continues to work diligently towards solving pressing societal challenges.
