The recent culmination of the Dual Venom PKOs at Americas Cardroom marked a significant milestone in the poker world, concluding with an impressive $6,862,500 in total prize pools. This event exceeded initial expectations by surpassing the guaranteed amount of $6.5 million, showcasing the growing popularity and participation in online poker tournaments.

In one of the standout performances, Andorra's PushLightYear triumphed in the No-Limit Hold'em event, while Mexico's tigerseyes claimed victory in the Pot-Limit Omaha competition. Both events had a buy-in of $2,650, with No-Limit Hold'em attracting 2,143 entries, leading to a prize pool of $5,357,500, well above its $5 million guarantee. Meanwhile, the Pot-Limit Omaha saw 602 entries, generating a total pot of $1,505,000, exceeding its guarantee of $1.5 million.
PushLightYear's prize haul amounted to $536,577, of which $332,932 was regular prize money and $203,645 came from bounties. The runner-up in the No-Limit Hold'em event, ArkaduktusFrRM, was awarded $418,825. In the Pot-Limit Omaha competition, tigerseyes earned $239,819, which included $111,197 from bounties. Additionally, Pepareg1 secured $164,673 for second place in PLO.
Upcoming Events and Opportunities
Looking ahead, Americas Cardroom is set to host its next $1,050 WSOP Paradise Mega Satellite on the upcoming Sunday at 3:05 PM ET, which guarantees seven packages worth $30,000 each. The previous two weekly megas saw an overlay of over $50,000, an attractive prospect for competitors eager to secure their place in what promises to be a monumental event.
The packages won will grant access to the $26,000 buy-in Super Main Event, which boasts a whopping $50 million guarantee and will take place in the Bahamas from December 10 to 17.
