Huawei Unveils the Groundbreaking Mate XT



During the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 held from March 3-6 in Barcelona, Spain, Huawei showcased its latest innovation, the HUAWEI Mate XT, the world's first commercially available triple-foldable smartphone. With a sleek design and advanced technology, the Mate XT is the centerpiece of Huawei's presentation, merging cutting-edge style with functionality.

The Mate XT features unique hinge technology that allows the device to fold both inward and outward, providing a versatile user experience. This innovation is complemented by a remarkable camera system, including an adjustable physical aperture with ten settings, enabling users to capture stunning images in various conditions. At Huawei's exhibition, a large 3D display showcased the capabilities of this remarkable device, emphasizing its distinct features compared to traditional smartphones.

Alongside the Mate XT, Huawei also introduced the new HUAWEI Mate 70 series, equipped with an advanced Ultra Chroma camera that promises unprecedented color accuracy. Another zone, dedicated to the Mate X6, showcased the advanced materials used in the smartphone's construction, letting participants engage in activities such as ice cutting with a graphene sheet to illustrate the material's outstanding thermal conductivity.

In addition to smartphones, Huawei highlighted its commitment to health and wellness with its HUAWEI TruSense system. Interactive demonstrations displayed how the HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 monitors real-time vital signs with impressive accuracy, comparing data with professional fitness monitors. In the Health Glance area, attendees witnessed the HUAWEI WATCH D2, a connected device recognized for its medical certification as a wrist-worn blood pressure monitor.

The intelligence behind Huawei's wearables is reflected in their increasing popularity. Recent reports indicate that in the first three quarters of 2024, Huawei became a leader in the connected devices sector, stemming from their innovative health-focused technologies.
