VivaTech Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary with Major Transformations and Innovations

VivaTech, Europe's premier technology startup event, is gearing up for a monumental celebration as it marks its 10th anniversary edition from June 17 to 20, 2026, at the iconic Porte de Versailles in Paris. Since its inception, VivaTech has evolved spectacularly, becoming a vital platform for startups, large corporations, investors, and decision-makers to network and drive innovation forward.

Over a decade, VivaTech has witnessed an astonishing growth of 300%, with its audience swelling from 45,000 to over 180,000 visitors in 2025, representing participants from an impressive 171 countries. Alongside this, the number of startups showcased has tripled, while the presence of investors has increased twelvefold, emphasizing the event’s significance in fostering entrepreneurial spirit and investment.

For the 2026 iteration, VivaTech will occupy Hall 7, significantly expanding its exhibition space by over 30%, thereby enhancing the experience for attendees. This year, the event is set to welcome approximately 15,000 startups and feature over 1,500 demonstrations along with more than 4,000 scheduled business and networking meetings. A new initiative, dubbed "Investors Office Hours," aims to streamline connections between founders and international investors, further bolstering collaborative efforts and engagement.

As we look towards the next decade, the programming of VivaTech 2026 will focus on four pivotal themes: "AI Productivity," "Cybersecurity & Defense," "Greentech Energy," and "Deeptech." Attendees can anticipate ground-breaking announcements, including innovative technologies such as brain-machine interfaces, exoskeletons, conversational agents, automated vulnerability detection systems, energy transition solutions, and advancements in quantum and spatial technologies.

Highlighting its European stature, VivaTech has named Germany as the 'Country of the Year 2026,' showcasing the largest delegation in the history of the event. With an extensive 800 square meter stand and participation from 200 startups alongside significant federal and regional partners across 14 Länder and 12 governmental entities, the focus will be on reinforcing European sovereignty and technological leadership.

In an exciting twist, VivaTech aims to broaden its reach to the general public this year. On Sunday, June 14, the event will extend to the prestigious Champs-Élysées, featuring a complimentary, immersive day dedicated to everyday technology encompassing AI, robotics, mobility solutions, climate technology, and health innovations.

Additionally, the VivaTech Festival will cater to the younger demographic of 18-35-year-olds on June 20, offering insights into social implications of AI, the creator economy, future talent, and a career festival.

Renowned speakers from various industries—including startups, major companies, and public institutions—are set to gather, solidifying this edition as a global juncture where innovation, business dynamics, and critical technology discussions intersect. VivaTech 2026 not only marks a decade of substantial achievements but also sets the stage for future breakthroughs and technological advancements that will shape society for years to come.
