LINE Rangers Teams Up with WIND BREAKER

LINE Yahoo Corporation has officially announced an exciting collaboration for its popular defense battle game, LINE Rangers (available on iPhone and Android for free). Starting from May 29, 2026, players will be able to experience a unique crossover with the acclaimed TV anime, WIND BREAKER.

Exciting Limited-Edition Characters

During this collaboration, players can access limited-edition ranger characters from WIND BREAKER, including:

- Haruka Sakura - A fierce fighter who came to confront strong opponents and aims to take the top spot in battle.
- Kazuya Umeumiya - The charismatic representative of the “Bōfūrin,” whose friendly nature attracts others, and has a passion for gardening.
- Hayato Sobokuhim - A mysterious figure with a charming smile and a taste for jokes, but can be ruthlessly cold when disrespected.
- Ren Kaji - Known for his trademark headphones and candies, he possesses a depth that is hard to read yet is deeply caring towards his friends.
- Kyotaro Sugishita - A loyal yet unpredictable force who has been recognized as a prodigy since middle school and shows absolute loyalty to Umeumiya.

Special Collaboration Equipment

In addition to the characters, players can also look forward to collaboration-themed equipment inspired by the anime. This includes:

- Bōfūrin School Uniform
- Kaji’s Hoodie
- Sobokuhim's Earrings
- Nurai's Secret Memo Pad
- Kaji’s Headphones

Daily Login Rewards

From May 29 through June 30, players who log in every day will receive valuable in-game items such as feathers for stage play, evolution materials, coins, and the collaboration ranger “★8 Kyotaro Sugishita.”

Special Events Await

A special stage called “WIND BREAKER Planet” will be introduced, where players can gain experience points and evolution materials. Clearing this stage will also provide the chance to unlock the rare “★8 Kyotaro Sugishita” character.

Unique Tower Skin

Moreover, a limited tower skin themed after the character Akihiko Nurai from WIND BREAKER will be available as a reward in the Ranger Pass. Players can customize their tower with this skin for the duration of the event.

Social Media Campaigns

To celebrate this collaboration, a social media campaign will take place. By following the official LINE Rangers account on X (formerly Twitter) and reposting designated messages, participants will have the chance to win limited-edition rangers from the anime.

What is WIND BREAKER?

WIND BREAKER revolves around Haruka Sakura, a lone delinquent high school student aiming for the pinnacle in combat, who joins the notorious Fūrin High School. However, he discovers the school has transformed into a group protecting the town, known as “Bōfūrin.” As a member of Bōfūrin, Sakura interacts with the local community and faces adversities, gradually maturing and stepping up as a leader to confront new foes.
