Since 2019, Coach Gyotoku has been dispatched by the Japan Football Association (JFA) to support Cambodian football, and he shared the pressing challenges faced by local players. The inspiring stories of frequent power outages during training sessions, outdated equipment, and a shortage of football boots painted a picture of a challenging environment where young athletes practice their skills.

Gyotoku’s passionate commitment, including his efforts to purchase shoes from Japan and send them to the players in Cambodia, touched the hearts of Shimada Group's executives. Moved by this encounter and with a desire to extend support to these young athletes, Shimada Group decided to contribute.

Donation Details

Shimada Group has donated $3,000 to the Cambodian Football Association. The funds will be utilized for the following purposes:

• - Covering the travel and operational costs for academy players

As the Cambodian national team prepares for World Cup qualifiers in March next year, it is critical to enhance training conditions and develop skills among younger players.
