Join the Exciting Parent-Child Summer School at Kamogawa Sea World This August!

Experience the Wonders of Marine Life Together!

Kamogawa Sea World is set to host its inaugural Parent-Child Summer School from August 24 to 28, 2026. Aimed at elementary school students and their accompanying adults, this program promises an exciting opportunity for families to learn about marine life in a safe and enjoyable environment.

A Legacy of Learning

Since its opening in 1973, Kamogawa Sea World has been a beloved destination for families. Last summer, the program took a pause due to extreme heat, but this year it returns with a revised format. This version invites adults 16 and older to join their child or children, up to two per adult, ensuring a memorable bonding experience.

Participants will engage in exciting activities, such as animal lectures in a cool auditorium and live explanations from trainers about marine animals like killer whales and penguins. The program aims to enhance children's curiosity and provide valuable learning experiences directly from the creatures they encounter.

Special Features for a Comfortable Experience

To ensure that both children and accompanying adults can enjoy the program comfortably, several measures have been integrated:
  • - Timing Adjustment: The event, usually held in July, has been moved to late August when the heat is slightly more manageable.
  • - Cooling Gift: Each participant will receive an original “ice pack” to help them cool down during activities.
  • - Balanced Schedule: Attention has been given to balancing outdoor observation, limiting it to about one hour at a time, interspersed with indoor lectures and breaks for ample rest.
