Unlocking Success: Special Seminar for University of Tokyo Entrance Exams
The Kawai Juku Hongo School, specializing in entrance exam preparation for the University of Tokyo, will host a special seminar on December 14 (Sunday) aimed at high school seniors striving for direct admission to the prestigious university. This seminar will focus on enhancing candidates' performance in the highly competitive second-stage entrance exams for subjects like English and Mathematics.
Improving Answer Quality: A Crucial Factor for Success
In the previous year’s entrance exam for the University of Tokyo, the first-stage selection process for all faculties except for the Faculty of Science III became stricter, with the selection line rising significantly. For the academic year 2026, the forecasted selection ratio for Science III will tighten from 3.0 times to 2.8 times. By limiting the number of examinees for the second-stage exams, the university aims to conduct more thorough evaluations, making the quality of the second-stage exam answers more critical than ever for success.
To provide timely support for seniors in their exam preparation, Kawai Juku Hongo will conduct this special seminar just over two months before the entrance exams. Experienced instructors who specialize in University of Tokyo exam strategies will guide students through original practice problems and explanations. The goal is to provide a clear learning pathway that enhances the quality of answers in the remaining two months before the exams.
