Celebrating Excellence in Golf

Cabot, a prominent developer and operator of luxury golf resorts and residential destinations, has announced a significant achievement: five of its esteemed golf courses have been included in Golfweek's prestigious list of the Top 100 International Courses for 2025. This esteemed recognition by a panel of over 800 experts showcases the global standing of these incredible courses, marking a noteworthy moment for Cabot.

The courses recognized include:
  • - Point Hardy Golf Club (No. 5) located in Cabot Saint Lucia, designed by the renowned duo Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw.
  • - Cabot Cliffs (No. 12) in Inverness, Nova Scotia, Canada, also designed by Coore and Crenshaw.
  • - Cabot Links (No. 45), sharing the same ranking as Castle Stuart Golf Links in Inverness, Scotland, which holds the No. 54 spot on the list.
  • - Lofoten Links (No. 89) in Gimsøysand, Norway, making its debut on the top 100 after a strategic investment made by Cabot in September 2024.

A Commitment to Excellence

Ben Cowan-Dewar, CEO and co-founder of Cabot, expressed his gratitude, stating, "We are incredibly honored to have five Cabot courses recognized by Golfweek among the best in the world. Creating extraordinary golf experiences has always been at the core of what we do, and it is gratifying to see our courses making a lasting impact on golfers worldwide."

In recent months, Cabot has been expanding its global footprint with notable advancements. Early in 2025, Cabot Citrus Farms, the brand's first venture in the United States, celebrated a successful grand opening. This premium Florida destination features two revamped 18-hole golf courses, including the recently honored Karoo, recognized as "Best New Public Course" by Sports Illustrated. The property also offers two exclusive shorter courses, luxury real estate options, curated experiences, overnight accommodations, and a range of resort amenities.

Exciting developments continue with Cabot Highlands in Scotland, which is set to unveil the highly anticipated Old Petty course, designed by the esteemed architect Tom Doak, in August 2025.

Meanwhile, Cabot is transforming Cabot Bordeaux in France into a top-tier destination for golf and wine enthusiasts—a testament to the brand's unwavering commitment to excellence and transformative experiences. Looking ahead to 2027, Cabot will launch Cabot Revelstoke, its second Canadian property and its first mountain destination, featuring Cabot Pacific, an 18-hole public access course designed by Rod Whitman.
