ENFRA Emerges as a Leading Force in Energy Infrastructure Sector Post-Rebranding

A New Chapter for ENFRA

In a strategic move to highlight its leadership in energy infrastructure and Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS), Bernhard has officially rebranded itself as ENFRA. This change marks a significant evolution for the company as it continues to expand its comprehensive energy solutions across the United States.

With over a century of experience delivering energy services, ENFRA's CEO Rob Guthrie expressed confidence in the new brand, stating, "Our name, ENFRA, encapsulates the core of our energy and infrastructure-focused business, aligning with our ongoing growth in the energy sector." Notably, the company's leadership and operations will remain unchanged, ensuring continuity for customers and partners.

The name change comes on the heels of impressive growth in the EaaS segment. ENFRA has seen its EaaS business grow at an astounding compounded annual rate of over 35% since 2017. This growth has shifted the revenue share from 10% to nearly 50% of the company’s total income, demonstrating the increasing demand for integrated energy solutions. ENFRA now operates in 24 states and has plans to open new offices in Pasadena, California, and the Northeast, increasing its reach and capacity to serve clients.

ENFRA’s unique value proposition is tailored to meet the financial and operational demands of not-for-profit sectors, particularly in healthcare and higher education. The company assures performance, mitigates risk, and enables clients to optimize their energy infrastructure without compromising their financial stability.

Guthrie also noted, "Today's dynamic energy landscape requires innovative solutions. From energy efficiency and campus-scale electrification to demand response initiatives, we are dedicated to helping institutions minimize emissions, cut expenses, and increase their resilience."

ENFRA's measurable contributions include substantial energy conservation, with an annual performance of 246,280 MWh saved, 865,108 MMBtu reduced in fuel consumption, and 146,252 MT of CO₂e emissions avoided. These efforts lead to more than $87 million in annual energy cost savings, surpassing guaranteed amounts by over $6 million.

The leadership views the rebrand as a reflection of their commitment to a sustainable future. Guthrie summarized, "ENFRA is a forward-looking name, symbolizing our mission to develop lasting energy solutions that empower purpose-driven institutions. Our focus remains on creating, sustaining, and enabling impactful energy infrastructure."

As part of the rebranding effort, ENFRA will gradually update its signage, digital presence, and communication materials throughout the year, assuring customers that there will be no disruption in service or existing agreements. ENFRA aims to leverage the rebranding to further advance its initiatives, solving energy challenges for institutions across various sectors, and solidifying its role as a pivotal player in the energy landscape.

ENFRA is headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana, and provides vertically integrated solutions in engineering, construction, maintenance, and asset management. With over 2,200 employees and 24 offices nationwide, the company is committed to delivering measurable energy savings while reducing emissions, ensuring its clients can build resilient infrastructures for a sustainable future.
