Event Overview
On June 1, 2025, Trustyyle, a Tokyo-based company, will host a hands-on workshop titled "ICF Coaching Practice Workshop: Insights into Ethics and Core Competencies" in collaboration with the Japan branch of the International Coaching Federation (ICF Japan). This in-person event aims to provide participants with an opportunity to engage with ICF’s global coaching standards in a participatory format.
The workshop has been structured into two informative sessions:
Part 1: Understanding ICF Ethics and Core Competencies
In this initial segment, attendees will learn about the ethical guidelines and core competencies established by ICF. Discussions will cover the origins of these standards, including how they were developed and the context in which they operate. Participants will receive insights drawn from key portions of the ethics and competencies, promoting a comprehensive understanding of these crucial aspects of professional coaching.
Part 2: Interactive Coaching Experience
The second part of the workshop will involve hands-on practice through pair work. Participants will engage in two structured activities:
- - Listening, Acknowledgment, and Inquiry: Working in pairs, participants will practice core skills critical for effective coaching.
- - Core Competencies Application: Another round of pair work will focus on applying ICF’s core competencies in real-world scenarios, followed by a shareback session where insights and thoughts can be exchanged among all attendees.
The workshop will conclude with an open Q&A session, providing attendees with a chance to clarify their learnings and engage deeper with the content presented.
