Kewai's 'Sense of Spring Collection' Comes to Tokyo
As the season begins to transform, Kewai, a Tokyo-based brand known for interpreting nature's essence, announces its debut at DESIGNART TOKYO 2025. This event marks the first showing of their acclaimed 'Sense of Spring collection,' which was originally unveiled during the Milan Design Week this April.
Capturing the Essence of Spring
The 'Sense of Spring collection' beautifully encapsulates the fleeting moment when cherry blossoms drift on the wind. Kewai utilizes thousands of meticulously hand-cut petals to express the Japanese aesthetic concepts of "the beauty of transience" and "wabi-sabi." Each piece not only represents spring but is imbued with the very essence of time—light and air. As you gaze upon the artworks, memories and emotions subtly resurface, inviting a profound connection.
What is DESIGNART TOKYO 2025?

About Kewai
Founded in 2024, Kewai is dedicated to expressing the concept of 'presence'—an experience felt through subtle shifts in nature, seasonal changes, and daily occurrences. The name 'Kewai' is said to derive from an ancient reading, 'keawai,’ embodying the idea of sensing these nuances. The brand aims to propose new perspectives and values through its creations. Notably, Kewai also designed the championship trophy for the nationwide high school eSports tournament, 'STAGE:0,' held during the Osaka-Kansai Expo in 2025.
