Exciting Godzilla Collaboration in Sonic Rumble

Sega has officially announced a thrilling limited-time collaboration event featuring the iconic Godzilla in their popular multiplayer party game, Sonic Rumble. Starting on December 22nd at 17:00 and running until January 21st, 2026 at 17:00, players can participate in the 'Godzilla Event' packed with exclusive gear and challenges.

During this event, gamers will have the opportunity to battle using special Godzilla-themed skins and collect unique in-game items inspired by the legendary creature. A spectacular new trailer featuring the Godzilla Theme has also been released, capturing the essence of the collaboration and showcasing the exciting features to come.

Event Pass Rewards

The event includes two types of event passes: a free pass and a premium paid pass. With the free pass, players can unlock exclusive rewards, including the Godzilla skin, the radiation ray skill, and the buddy Fire Radon. Meanwhile, the premium pass offers players the chance to acquire the King Ghidorah skin, the internal radiation skill, and the buddy Mothra.

Introducing Godzilla Collaboration Stage

A brand new survival stage themed around Godzilla will be unveiled during the event, offering players a chance to engage in thrilling battles while navigating various obstacles within the iconic universe of Godzilla. Sonic and his companions will fight their way through this epic new stage, delivering an electrifying experience.

Special In-Game Store Bundle

Additionally, event-exclusive skins and skills will be available at the Red Starling Shop. Examples include the Mechagodzilla Bundle, which features the Mechagodzilla skin and the Absolute Zero skill, and the Destroyah Bundle with the Destroyah skin and the Variable Slicer skill.

To commemorate the launch of the Godzilla event, Sonic Rumble is hosting a special campaign from today until December 28th at 23:59 JST on its official Japanese X (formerly Twitter) account. Players can engage by following the official account and using the hashtag #GodzillaSonicRumbleCollab to collect points, which can be redeemed for a chance to win collaboration design QUO cards worth 10,000 yen and exciting in-game items.
